Jordanian-German Center of Excellence for Solar Energy received prestigious Committed to Excellence Certificate by the King Abdullah Center of Excellence

The Jordanian-German Center of Excellence for Solar Energy (CoE), which is operated by the National Employment and Training company and located in the Mafraq Development Zone, has received the Committed to Excellence Certificate issued by the King Abdullah Center of Excellence (KACE). The CoE has successfully complied with the criteria for organizational management that are in line with the standards of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM). This important step of international recognition has strengthened the National Employment and Training Company that it has chosen the right track of developing a unique state-of-the-art Vocational Training Center together with the support of GIZ, Orange Telecom Jordan and Mafraq Development Corporation as well as Icon Institute, a German consulting company. The CoE offers modern pedagogy based on a high degree of practice-based learning and strong private sector participation throughout the training program to serve underprivileged Jordanian youth in becoming qualified technicians in the strategic field of solar energy.
