Signing of a memorandum of understanding between Petra Tourism Development Region Authority and NET

On Wednesday, August 25, the National Company for Employment and Training and the Petra Tourism Authority signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of training and employing trainees and building their professional capabilities, framing cooperation between the two parties in the fields of training and community service.
The memorandum was signed by the Director General of the National Company for Employment and Training, Brigadier General Fouad Al-Ayasra, and the Vice President of the Petra Authority, Dr. Khalil Hassan Abu Hammour.
This agreement aims to implement training courses for fifty trainees in the field of training in several professions, including (car electricity, auto mechanics, some construction professions, agricultural training and solar energy professions), according to the requirements of the local market.
The National Employment Training Company will commit to granting all privileges to the trainees according to its regulations and instructions, and the Petra Regional Authority will provide buildings and service facilities for use in the training process.
This agreement comes in line with the royal vision in training and qualifying young people, within a professional training environment that contributes to providing job opportunities for them to raise their standard of living, achieve a decent life for them and their families, and encourage them to engage in entrepreneurial and self-employment.
  The National for Employment and Training is a private, non-profit national company concerned with training the Jordanian workforce and according to the latest standards through 17 institutes spread across all governorates of the Kingdom to contribute to reducing unemployment rates.
