Our goals are set in alignment with the directives of our Supreme Commander, His Majesty King Abdullah II, who emphasizes on the importance of investing in the potential of the Jordanian people. This is a continuation of the enduring vision of our Hashemite leadership, aimed at developing the capabilities and skills of young people, while fostering their determination and creativity. It is this vision that we strive to instill and promote to encourage young people to learn and master various vocations, especially as we cross into a new century of our Jordanian state. This aligns with the National Strategy for Human Resources Development, aimed at creating a trained and qualified national workforce, equipped with diverse technical and professional skills to meet the demands of the Jordanian and Arab labor markets. This workforce alignment with available job opportunities enables young people to achieve a decent and fulfilling life. The National Program for Employment and Training was established in response to royal directives, marking a significant advancement in the training and development of our nation’s youth through a comprehensive national vocational training program in construction and related trades. This initiative is implemented through a partnership between the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army, the Ministry of Labor, and the Private Sector, equipping young people with the skills needed for competitiveness, creativity, employment, productivity, along with meeting labor market demands. It also seeks to empower them to reduce poverty and unemployment, enhance economic and social security, provide a dignified life, and contribute to sustainable and comprehensive national development. Today, this initiative stands as a successful national experience that continues to graduate skilled professionals and meet our national objectives.
